Main GUI



The Main GUI Provides the User a way to select the design NetLists to Compare or Convert, and to see the status and Results of those Operations.

A CONFIG_FILE stores all the Configuration Variables so that the user can return to the same mode of operation by selecting the CONFIG_FILE


Config_File:

Select a previously stored configuration to run the same operation. Browse to Find the File, Edit to open it up.

Select NetLists for Each Design:

Design1 Netlist: 

Browse to find and select the Primary Design Netlist (pstxnet.dat). The BOM file (pstxprt.dat) will be automatically chosen from the same directory.

Design1 Netlist is used in both Diff Netlists and Convert Netlist operations

Design2 Netlist:

Browse to find and select the  Design netlist (pstxnet.dat). The BOM file (pstxprt.dat) will be automatically chosen from the same directory.

Design2 Netlist is only used in the Diff Netlist operation as the Old BOM/Netlist

Config Options:

View/Set All Config Button:

Pops up a tabbed GUI to view or set all configuration setting (CSETS)

RINF Netlist Content Controls:

RINF_PRINT_COMPONENTS 

Short cut to RINF_PRINT_COMPONENTS CSET setting 

RINF_PRINT_NETS

ADD_PIN_NAME_IN_RINF

Select Operations:

Diff Netlist Button:

When 2 Netlists have been selected, the Diff operation will run on both the Netlist and the Associated PartList (BOM FILE)

Convert NetList Button:

The Design1 Netlist and PartLists are read and a RINF and .CSV version of the Netlist is produced.

Status Window

The Status of the selected operation is displayed in this window. Three levels of Filtering can be applied to show verbose DBG messages, Normal Status messages and Warnings
