Download and extract tools
The CadEnhance Toolset can be downloaded from the cadEnhance Website using the following link:
https://www.cadenhance.com/free-tool-downloads
A table is provided showing the Latest Version available plus the last 5 released versions
Later releases are available as a self-extracting .exe install_file or as a .zip archive file. The self extracting file is easier to use but may be blocked for downloading by some company network policies.
The VERSION_INFO Link on the Left is a Readme File detailing the changes for all the releases
Request a Demo License
CadEnhance will provide a free Demo License to let you fully operate the tools for a short time period (typically a month). The user can request a license using one of the tools. In this case we will use PartBuilder to request the license
Start The PartBuilder tool
Now find the cadenhance/tools/PartBuilder folder on the drive/folder you extracted to
double click part_builder.exe
Uncheck the Always ask before opening and click Run when the Security Warning pops up
Then Click on "Run" button in "Open File - Security Warning"
PartBuilder will popup with This menu,
select Skip
Use the license menu to request the License
click on the License menu
and select request License
Fill Out the License Request Form
The tool will read your computer serial number and enter it in the top entry
All Fields must be filled out to make a valid license request
View and then accept the license terms
Generate the license request
Press The Generate License Request Button.
The Tool will communicate with the cadEnhance Web Server and add you to the user Database.
Click on "OK" button in "SUCCESS"
Install the License File
CadEnhance will be notified of your request by an email, review the licenese request and if all is in good order, will send you back a license.dat file
Place the license.dat file in the ROOT:\cadenhance\license directory
In this case ROOT is C:\
You should now be able to operate the Tools.
