The PartBuilder Symbol Creation Flow

The video above demonstrates the high level view of the PartBuilder schematic symbol creation process. PartBuilder reads the PIN_REPORT_FILE to build an internal pin database, then reads the Symbol Description Language(SDL) file to map the pins to locations on symbols,  Once all the pins have been mapped to symbols the PartBuilder symbol generator builds the required Symbol files, attaching the user configured Properties for all enabled EDA tools.
