The Menu Bar provides the Config, License Updates and Help Menu items 

Config Menu

View/Set All Config Variables

Pops up a GUI to interact with all the available Configuration Settings used by the Tool. The Parameters are organized into Tabs for each Category of Settings. For NetBOM, there are 3 current Categories, NETLIST_BOM_DIFF, NETLIST_CONVERT, and GENERAL See the NetBom Configuration Settings (CSETS) Section and Configuration Settings in CadEnhance Tools Section for more information

Search for Configuration Settings

Pops up a GUI enabling the user to search for CSETS by name, value or source of the CSET value. See Configuration Settings in CadEnhance Tools Section for more information


Report Configuration Settings

Creates a Document Detailing all of the current CSETS supported by NetBom. See NetBom Configuration Settings (CSETS) for a snapshot of the report and a link to a full report

Save All Configuration

This allows the user a shortcut to save the current settings in the currently selected CONFIG_FILE, a backup is automatically made with the contents of the last saved CONFIG_FILE

Save Minimal Configuration

Creates a smaller configuration file with only the CSETS whose values have been modified from the default CSET value

License Menu

Print License

The User can use this Menu to print the contents of the License Data File to the Main GUI Status Display. Here they can see the features available and the Expiration Dates

Request License

The User can use this Menu to Generate a License Request to the CadEnhance Licensing System

Set License File (CE_LIC_FILE)

Lets the user change the setting of the CE_LIC_FILE to enable testing... Please Refer to Testing License Checkout for more information

Test License Checkout

Attempts to checkout and then return the NetBom License Feature using the CE_LIC_FILE setting. Please Refer to Testing License Checkout for more information

View License Terms

Pops up PDF reader with the current version of the license agreement between the customer and CadEnhance


Updates Menu


Check for Updates

Compares the Current version of the NetBom tool against the latest published Tool available on the CadEnhance website. This requires Network access which some customer security options may block

Show Tool Revision History

Opens a browser displaying the CadEnhance Tool Revision WebPage 

Tool Download Page

Opens a browser displaying the CadEnhance Tools Download WebPage 

Help Menu

Online User Guides

Provides a Link to the Top Level of the CadEnhance Documentation webstite

Report Config Settings

Provides same function as the Config Settings "Report Configuration Settings" menu item above
